Corporate Social Responsibility

First City Care promotes its Corporate Social Responsibilities through a number of ways.

Community

We support three charities through offering security advice, assistance plus indirectly by helping to raise funds for their cause.

Children in Crisis

Founded by our Chairman Grahame Harding, Sarah The Duchess of York and Paul Szkiler, the charity exists to give children in some of the poorest countries educational opportunities to help transform their lives.

Child Victims of Crime

Child Victims of Crime are the only National Police Children's Charity. Their aim is to provide material support for child victims who have been a victim of or traumatised by any criminal offence committed in the UK.

CrimeStoppers

The Crimestoppers Trust works in partnership with the police and operates through 39 regional boards that span the UK which are operated by volunteers. Their ultimate aim is to make 'make streets safer'.

Employee Community Projects

In addition to supporting these charities we also actively promote awareness and support employees when they wish to be involved in community projects and provide sponsorship to encourage further involvement.

Environment

As a company we take our responsibilities towards the environment very seriously. We have a number of recycling and energy saving schemes in place which include recycling, regeneration and safe disposal.

Workplace

First City Care provides and maintains a pleasant and safe working environment for employees. Being an equal opportunities employer, all employees are treated with respect and are actively encouraged to further their skills through training and business involvement.
